Maren BApril 9, 2016Marinepolis is a West Coast chain, with spots all over PDX, Seattle, and LA. This supply chain helps the food turnover and keeps the quality pretty darn high. Plates $1-3. No Happy Hour.
If its a Sunday and after about 7pm, look through the window before coming in. If the conveyer belt is mostly empty, don't bother, because asking the chefs for everything is a surprising hassle.

Quick, cheap, decently good sushi. The conveyor belt is always very full & constantly updated the several times I've been. See lots of people come in for a quick meal alone.

Order Tokoyaki is sooooo good! (Octopus balls) - shaped like meat balls. Only sold here I think.
If you want something here order it twice, because the chances are they'll think you wanted a nod and a smile the first time- Just a heads-up: I'm not sure why it is, but a high ratio of the customers chew/eat with their mouths wide open here. I don't care where you're from, that's fucking disgusting.
I only wish that the sushi chefs spoke English. I have to order my food a few times before they understand me.
